CN national classification of camellia oil and the identification of quality

Camellia oil can be classified into camellia seed crude oil, refined grade camellia oil, etc. according to its grade. Camellia oil crude oil cannot be directly used as edible oil because the crude oil contains some components that have an impact on the human body, so it needs to be refined, and after refining, the components that are not needed by the human body are removed before consumption. According to the national standard, finished camellia oil is divided into two categories, namely, pressed finished tea oil and leached finished tea oil. The pressed finished tea oil is divided into two quality grades and the leached finished oil is divided into four quality grades. Tea oil retailed in the market, while meeting the national standards, is mainly divided into the physically refined pressed tea oil and the refined oil processed by the "six stripping" process according to the processing technology. In addition, all camellia oil packaging must be clearly marked with the grade to which it belongs according to the new standard established by China in May 2003 and implemented on October 1, 2003.

(1) Extra Virgin camellia oil (the best camellia oil, the first grade of the national standard)

The juice obtained from the first pressed camellia fruit, with fruity aroma and flavor, and an oil acidity of less than 1%.

(2) Pure camellia oil (pure camellia oil, national standard grade 2)

It is made from machine-pressed camellia oil through dehybridization, deacidification, dehydration, decolorization, deodorization and freezing and degreasing processing.

(3) Pomace camellia oil (special grade camellia oil, medical injection grade)

The oil is obtained from the collection of camellia fruit in the deep mountains of the primitive forest and is physically purified according to the standard of pharmaceutical production process to obtain the purest oil (colorless, tasteless, smokeless, close to zero acid value and zero peroxide value). It is exclusively used for pharmaceutical injection oil and cosmetic oil.

Identification of tea oil quality

The quality of tea oil itself contains two meanings.

1, the difference in the intrinsic composition of the oil itself

The higher the content of unsaturated fatty acids, the better. Generally speaking, the higher the latitude, the higher the relative saturated fatty acid content of the plant, which is related to the plant growth cycle. For example, canola in the central subtropical region is picked about 20 days later than in the southern subtropical region, which means that the growing period is 20 days longer and the quality is higher (higher unsaturated fatty acids). But it should be noted that the difference is around 2%-3%, in fact, for tea oil containing more than 90% of unpacked and fatty acids, the impact and difference can almost ignore the road.

The difference between the indicators

2, based on the national standard requirements of the indicators to be described.

Acid value, the lower the better. Generally companies control it within 1.0. If the tea oil you purchased is sour when you rub it in your hand or heat it in a pot, it means that the oil is poor in quality.

Peroxide value The lower the peroxide value, the better, the lower the index means the lower the oxidation degree.

Color and luster, the national standard does not require high color and luster. There is a consumer misunderstanding on the color of tea oil, we all feel that the color depth oil is more authentic, in fact, tea oil color depth and refining degree, over-refining or non-refining are shadow ah tea oil Gu amount.

Low agent residue, the solvent is the residue of the oil extracted from the tea cake. There is no doubt that the high content of bathing agent (generally positive has been burned) is detrimental to health, so the national standards require within 10 parts per million, Japan, South Korea requires within one part per million. If it is said that the oil you buy has an irritating odor when you put it in the pot, then it is likely that this indicator exceeds the standard. Even iflabeled with the pressing method, then it may also be a counterfeit process.

Smoke point. The higher the smoke point, the higher the quality of the oil. Smoke point is what we usually understand as the temperature at which the oil smokes during the heating process, which can be judged when the oil is in the pot, especially when the heating temperature is high.

Precipitated material, most of the precipitated material is saturated acid oil, impurities, oxidized oil, water, soap (similar household soap), obviously these substances are not good for the body. In winter when the temperature is low, there are more precipitates, which means the oil quality is relatively poor: less precipitates or no precipitates, which means the oil quality is good. In the summer or high temperature season, to the naked eye to observe the light yellow, clear and transparent brightness of the good quality of the oil will be good.
