Taichi kongfu test
Is there any Kongfu in Tai Chi? Can it make you healthy?
Many people, especially young people, see Tai Chi as slow, loose, and soft. Compared with other fast, powerful, and powerful sports, they think it is just a sport for the old and the weak. There are indeed many people in the Tai Chi team who are old, weak, sick and disabled, but those who have practiced for a long time also have Kongfu in their movements (we will not talk about striking skills, that is the comprehensive martial arts application of Tai Chi), if you still don’t believe it , you can test it to see if you can do the following points
1. single Stand bently and switch continously for 50 minutes. The Yang style Tai Chi forms is basically an alternating one-leg support movement. The 115 postures of the Yaxuan style Yang style Tai Chi (basically the same as the 85 form) are mostly completed in about 50 minutes. A full set of forms exercises are performed, and each action is performed continuously with one leg supported for about 30 seconds.
2. Rotation. The movements of the forms are not only single stand and loose, but also rotate at the same time. It is not for speed but for slow inside movement, slow but ease. Change feet every half minute for an hour. Stand single and rotate your waist smoothly. The outstretched leg should be able to be retracted freely. And after exercise, no tired but energetic, feeling ready for fighting
3. In the above situation of supporting with single leg, if someone pushes you, you will be very stable and will not fall.
4. up to another level of Kongfu, let people attack you. you are still stable, you can also knock people out, just like a ball hitting a wall.
5. In addition, Measure the range of your ligaments to see if the elastic range of your muscles and bones can be compared to that of Tai Chi practitioners.
